Slovenia

I had barely heard of Slovenia nor was it on my travel bucket list until a family I met claimed it was the best place they had ever been to. After that, I started researching Slovenia and I knew we had to find a way to visit this country on our European Alps trip.

Our visit to Slovenia did not disappoint, I still rave about it and tell anyone traveling to the Alps that they have to make a stop in Slovenia. Stunning natural beauty but still not overrun with tourist or crowds. Slovenia is definitely a hidden gem.

Getting Around: We took a train into Bled then picked up a rental car for exploring the area. Slovenia is great for a mini rad trip and we definitely recommend renting a car.
